Kate Mykhalko

Kate Mykhalko is a co-founder of the Nuka company, which produces perpetual stationery. She started her small business with a big idea at the age of 16. Kate shared with us one of her failures, that taught her teamwork: “I am convinced that fuckups are the coolest opportunity for development. Sometimes it’s even very fun. One day my team and I launched our products into the stratosphere. Two cameras were attached to the structure, which was supposed to take off the flight. The team of 20 people went to launch. But we did not appoint a responsible person for the cameras. As a result, the flight went well, but the cameras shut down on Earth. We had to spend time and money again to launch that. Now I know that each task must be under the responsibility of a certain person.”
